Athena Real Estate Group was formed in August 2008 by Holly and Grant Whitworth for the purpose of specializing in Bank owned Real Estate Owned properties in the North East Georgia area. Holly and Grant recognized the need for a company that strictly handles REO properties and understands the process of selling these type assets. Due to the strong demand for their superior service, they expanded their area to include all of North East Georgia. Athena's clients are a mix of national lenders, hedge funds, private equity groups and local banks. Now they have expanded there company even more! The demand for their services have grown they now handle new construction, luxury homes, horse farms, re sale homes and lots.

Athena handles all aspects of the real estate process from the time of procession to the sale of the property. This includes checking occupancy within 24 hours of receiving a new property, performing "cash for keys" when needed, trash outs, sales cleans, repairs, turning on and maintaining all utilities, winterization, lawn maintenance and weekly inspection of all properties.

When it comes to Occupied homes this includes meeting with the clients to help them stage their homes, hold open houses, show their homes to potential clients, negotiate the sales with cooperating brokers and much more.

When working with builders Holly and the builder work very closely together brainstorming and creating ideas for advertizing. She does research for her clients and nows the market inside and out! As well as all of the services she provides for her re sale properties. Holly enjoys the daily contact and interaction she has with her clients and potentail buyers. She is always available to help out and answer questions.
