L’Assurance Insurance agency was formed in 1990 in Henderson, LA. Mark Abshire purchased the agency and changed the name to Abshire & Associates, Inc. in 2006. In 2013, Mr. Abshire Purchased Bayou Belle Insurance Agency in New Iberia, LA. His personal goal is to provide complete insurance coverage at an affordable price while continuing to give professional service with a personal touch. He possesses the skills, knowledge, integrity, and experience required to meet client needs. His golden rule philosophy sets him apart from other agents.

Abshire is licensed to sell Life & Health Insurance, as well as Property & Casualty in Louisiana. He holds an Excellence (ASE) Certification in 5 of 8 areas of the National Institute for Automotive Service. In addition, he was admitted to Biltmore’s Who’s Who.

His community involvement includes: Member of the Professional Insurance Agents, the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, ACOBA, Acadian Homebuilders Association and the Breaux Bridge Chamber of Commerce. Mark believes in living in – not off a community.

Abshire’s professional background includes management, service, parts and sales in the following industries: oilfield sales and service, automotive, and construction. Mark’s builds life-long relationships with others, so he continues to build his successful book of business – not only to add you to it, but to assist you with his extensive network of contacts.
