Chris is a contributing author to "A Practical Guide to Divorce in Rhode Island" and has lectured for several legal and other organizations on domestic relations, labor and other legal issues.
He has appeared and practiced before the Federal and State Courts in Rhode Island as well as State and Municipal administrative bodies.
He has served as counsel for a number of governmental bodies including: The City of Newport, City of Providence, the Town of Middletown, the Town of Portsmouth School Committee, the former Newport Country Convention and Visitors Bureau (Discover Newport).
Served as an arbitrator for both private and Court annexed litigation and also has been frequently Court appointed as a Master, Guardian and Commissioner in civil litigation.
Past President of the Gallogly Rhode Island Family Law American Inn of Court.
Presently serves as the President of the Newport County Bar Association.
Chris presently serves as President of the Newport Rugby Football Club and has served as an officer and director on a number of community boards.
