Nelson Paint offers several brands of paint to meet the wide range of marking needs. The longevity of the paint listed is the average; visibility of marks will generally fall in the ranges shown, but variances in sun exposure, rain and snow, and bark shedding can cause marks to last for longer or shorter periods than those listed.

Usually the paints last much longer than the conservative estimates shown. We have documented cases of Nelson Boundary Mark Paint lasting more than 20 years in the field!!

Boundary Mark: 6-8 Years Duration

Boundary Mark provides the most durable, permanent mark available in the industry and is the gold standard of paints. When you want to make a mark once and have it last for years, Boundary Mark is the paint of choice.

Boundary Mark is available in 8 colors and three different container types:

Gun Type F-Style Oblong Gallons- for ease of pouring and transferring into backpacks and quart cans.
Brush Type Gallons-For brush on application.
Gun Type Cone-Top Quart Cans- for use with the D-103 and LT-104 Guns. Just screw in the gun and go.
Nel-Script: 6-8 Years Duration

Nel Script is a tubed paint. With high-viscosity, its thickness allows the user to write letters and numbers on an object of their choice. Frequently used to mark trails and provide identifying information, Nel Script has no comparable competition. The paint is full-bodied to prevent sag, and is designed to stick to wet and rough surfaces.

Available in two colors, Nelson Nel Script comes in 6 oz resealable tubes for convenience and ease of use.

Aero Spot: 4-6 Years Duration

Aero Spot provides the ultimate in ease of application. It does not require transfer of a gun from one can to another. Simply shake the can to ensure proper preparation, spray until the marking job is complete, and then dispose of the empty can in a responsible manner. Nelson Aero Spot holds 12 ounces of paint and is available in 16 colors.

Wet Rock Aero Spot: 4-6 Years Duration

Wet Rock Aero Spot provides the ultimate in ease of application. It does not require transfer of a gun from one can to another. Simply shake the can to ensure proper preparation, spray until the marking job is complete, and then dispose of the empty can in a responsible manner. Nelson Aero Spot holds 12 ounces of paint and is available in 3 colors.

Super Spot: 4-6 Years Duration

Super Spot is the most commonly used paint in the industry, and the standard to which all other paint brands are compared. Super Spot is washable with soap and water when wet. Professionals seeking long-term marks but who do not require the superior longevity of Boundary Mark use Super Spot as their main tool for marking.

Super Spot is available in 8 colors, and comes in two different container types:

F-Style Oblong Gallons-For use with backpacks or for transfer into quart cans.
Cone-Top Quart Cans- for use with the D-103 and LT-104 Guns. Just screw in the gun and go marking!
Hydro Spot: 4-6 Years Duration

Hydro Spot is the paint of choice for those wishing to minimize their exposure to solvents of any type. Its alternative formula provides an improved profile and offers water clean-up.
