Med Sports Vantage founder Rachel Lethorn, MS, PA-C, ATC is a board certified Physician's Assistant and board certified Athletic Trainer with an extensive medical and athletic background. As a former athlete and current medical practitioner, coach, judge, wife and mother feels passionate to help others. Knowledge partnered with passion is powerful. Founder, Rachel Lethorn, MS, PA-C, ATC, graduated from Eastern Michigan University, Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Sports Medicine, and from Wayne State University with a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies. Sports have always been an important part of Rachel's life. Rachel competed in NCAA Div. I gymnastics for Eastern Michigan University, where she scored the first perfect score in the history of gymnastics at EMU. She has judged gymnastics since 1994, and currently is a National level NAWGJ Judge. Her 20+ years of coaching experience began in Texas, where she is originally from. She has also trained as a sports medicine professional under the USA Gymnastics Team Doctor of Osteopathy and the Chief Medical Officer for Gymnastics Australia, Dr. Don McIntosh. She has been on the volunteer medical staff for USA Nationals and Australian National Gymnastics Competitions. Currently she works part time at an urgent care, and is the Medical manager as well as an ultrasonographer at a pregnancy clinic. Rachel also works with many local gymnastics teams as their medical practitioner. She believes in the power of optimal health. Med Sports Vantage is a medical clinic which combines her experience with sports with her medical and health knowledge to educate, improve, empower and inspire the community.
