Roanoke is a city in Denton County, Texas, United States and part of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. With a 2020 population of 9,665, it is the 236th largest city in Texas and the 2991st largest city in the United States. Roanoke is currently growing at a rate of 3.77% annually and its population has increased by 76.74% since the 2010 census, which recorded a population of 5,962.
