Tilton is a town on the Winnipesaukee River in Belknap County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 3,962 at the 2020 census, up from 3,567 at the 2010 census. It includes the village of Tilton which makes up part of the census-designated place of Tilton Northfield and part of the villages of Winnisquam and Lochmere.
